So, I have been having a really hard to upload all of my things. Blogger is just not working with me. I've been doing all my work, but it never uploads, so you asked me to make this post to remind you that you had me make a Word Press account, so I can upload my work and get a grade for it!

So, here is my abstract vector art....I'm quite pleased with it, but for some reason, it never uploaded last time! I had to create a whole new, and it didn't upload, even though at first it showed that it did, (I hope you remember trying to help me, I even sent you the link...). But anyway, it was fun making this, cause I wasn't afraid to use more features on illustrator. It was a fun little project.

Basically, what illustrator is, is a much more sophisticated version of ROME. You are able to do many more things on it. It is a program that many professionals use for their work, and it is incredible all that they are able to do on it. It is also vector based.
Unfortunately, I am not very confident with illustrator. It is very different from ROME, and has so many more features. Its really difficult working will all of them, since with illustrator you have an opportunity to adjust EVERYTHING and be very particular. It just makes things more difficult for me. I have to make so many adjustments and it usually ends up ruining all my projects, even though I have done the tutorials.

this is my sad attempt of drawing myself on illustrator....It was incredibly hard, and I am not pleased with how it looks at all :( The thing that really bothers me, is that illustrator is pretty complicated.....I'm still very uncomfortable with it, and I'm scared to try new things with it, cause it ends up backfiring on me, and making things EVEN WORSE! I did very basic things with this project. I didn't really try to experiment too much, but now I wish I would have, cause maybe it would have turned out a little better, cause I really didn't follow the tutorials...

Vector VS Bitmap

Okay, so first off, let me explain what each one is.

Bitmap: Bitmap, another word for raster, is a way to create images. These images, are made up of pixels (those little squares you see in pictures). All of these tiny squares come together and make a picture. However, if you try to enlarge a raster based image too much, the pixels will get bigger as well. This causes the picture to look blurry, undefined, and very pixelated.

Vector: Vector based images on the other hand, are images made up from vectors, which are made possible my mathematical equations. They great thing about vectors, is that when a picture is reduced, or increased in size, nothing bad happens. It will end up perfectly clear, since the equation will change with the size change.

Overall, I think vector is obviously superior to bitmap. It makes it possible to play around with the size or an image, without worrying about how it will turn out, because it will automatically change the equation. You don't have to do anything! Its really simple one you get the hang of it, and understand its features and how it works, compared to bitmap.

Adobe Illustrator Tutorial

Here is a goldfish I made from the Adobe Illustrator. It was really easy to make, actually. I didn't do anything fancy with it, I just used the brush tool the entire time.
