Vector VS Bitmap

Okay, so first off, let me explain what each one is.

Bitmap: Bitmap, another word for raster, is a way to create images. These images, are made up of pixels (those little squares you see in pictures). All of these tiny squares come together and make a picture. However, if you try to enlarge a raster based image too much, the pixels will get bigger as well. This causes the picture to look blurry, undefined, and very pixelated.

Vector: Vector based images on the other hand, are images made up from vectors, which are made possible my mathematical equations. They great thing about vectors, is that when a picture is reduced, or increased in size, nothing bad happens. It will end up perfectly clear, since the equation will change with the size change.

Overall, I think vector is obviously superior to bitmap. It makes it possible to play around with the size or an image, without worrying about how it will turn out, because it will automatically change the equation. You don't have to do anything! Its really simple one you get the hang of it, and understand its features and how it works, compared to bitmap.
