The image on the left, is one I created using ROME. It was a bit challenging to use at the beginning, but I soon got a hang of it. The pattern was inspired by the design on my favourite guitarists (Eddie Van Halen) guitar. I started off by painting the entire background red, and the using the pen tool, I added the white, and turned it to make the red and white pattern. When that was finished, I used the paintbrush to add the black diagonal streaks. I am actually very pleased with the way it turned out.
